WHY ICEA LION

ICEA LION Life Assurance is the largest guaranteed fund manager in Kenya with current total funds under management in excess of Kshs. 30 Billion. This is for over 800 schemes and thousands of individual members. This constitutes about 22% of the market share. Our asset base and total life fund are in excess of Kshs 40 Billion and Kshs 39 Billion respectively as at December 2014.

We provide guarantee on the capital against impairment by investment loss.
Our minimum guaranteed rate of return is 4% compounded per annum. At the end of each financial year, a final rate of return is declared. Our average rate of return has been in excess of 10% over the past three years.
The strength of our investments is derived from our prudent asset mix that is of long term view and able to withstand any economic shocks.
Our key investment objectives are to safeguard retirement funds, maximize returns to members and maintain adequate levels of liquidity.
We are AA- rated, which means we are rated strong by Global Credit Rating Company.
